Claudia’s story
In a quiet moment after her For Beginners Only workout, Claudia S. reflects on a journey that has been anything but ordinary. At 39, she is more than just a mother of two beautiful daughters—she is an epilepsy warrior who has transformed her health and lost 100 lbs. with BODi, one low-impact workout at a time.
The wake-up call
Growing up, Claudia was not someone who thought much about her health. “I didn’t take care of myself when I was younger,” she admits. By the age of 30, her lifestyle, she says, caught up with her. “I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.” ‡

Discovering her truth
"I had no idea that I had been living with this condition my whole life," Claudia shares. The revelation came with a challenging journey—a brain surgery that removed 5 inches of her temporal lobe.
A year later, sitting in her neurosurgeon’s office, she decided it was time for a lifestyle change. She had been seizure-free since her surgery and felt like she had a second chance at life.
At five-foot-five, Claudia weighed 262 lbs. and was considered severely obese. “I was at my heaviest, and I had no energy,” she remembers.
