John Ohlson lost 9 lbs in 60 days with INSANITY MAX:30. He entered his results into The Beachbody Challenge, and won the $500 Daily Prize for May 17th.

Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
I wasn’t happy with my weight and my health. I did the original INSANITY and never completed the program, I then tried FOCUS T25, got busy with everyday life, and also did not complete that. My wife signed me up for MMA and I fell in love. I decided that I needed a lifestyle change, with my exercise routines and eating habits, and ordered INSANITY MAX:30 and completely fell in love with the program. I look forward to my workout everyday. INSANITY MAX:30 has helped me in so many ways. I am in the best shape of my life. I am making much smarter choices when it comes to the food my family, and I, eat.

What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I wanted to be someone that my wife and daughter could be proud of. I wanted to be better at MMA and INSANITY MAX:30 has helped me accomplish that. I wanted to score higher on my army PT test.

What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody® help you overcome that challenge?
Lack of motivation has always been a big challenge for me. When working out I feel like Shaun and the gang are watching me and that pushes me to work hard and ever quit.

What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
Everything about it. This is by far the strongest program Shaun T has come up with. I love the MAXOUT challenge. It pushes and motivates me daily.

Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I am most proud of sticking with the program for the full 60 days.

How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I am in the best shape of my life, and this helps me with my Army career and my MMA career. I have helped educate my family on proper eating habits and exercise routines.
