If you’re looking for a red, white, and blue smoothie to enjoy for the Platinum Jubilee, here’s a Strawberry Blueberry smoothie you’ll love.

It’s made with Vanilla Plant-Based Vegan Shakeology, almond milk, and fresh strawberries and blueberries.

We like the look of the layered approach, but you can also skip the layers completely and blend all the ingredients together for a delicious shake!

Strawberry Blueberry smoothie in a Mason jar

Ingredients

For Vanilla Layer

  • ½ cup / 120 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup / 85 g ice
  • ⅓ scoop Vanilla Plant-Based Vegan Shakeology
  • 1 Tbsp. hemp seeds

For Strawberry Layer

  • ½ cup / 120 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup / 85 g ice
  • ⅓ scoop Vanilla Plant-Based Vegan Shakeology
  • ½ cup / 75 g fresh (or frozen) strawberries

For Blueberry Layer

  • ½ cup / 120 ml unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup / 85 g ice
  • ⅓ scoop Vanilla Plant-Based Vegan Shakeology
  • ½ cup / 75 g fresh (or frozen) blueberries

Instructions

  1. To make vanilla layer, place almond milk, ice, Shakeology, and hemp seeds in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into large serving glass. Place glass in freezer. Rinse blender canister.
  3. To make strawberry layer, place almond milk, ice, Shakeology, and strawberries in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  4. Slowly pour into serving glass over vanilla layer. Place glass in freezer. Rinse blender canister.
  5. To make blueberry layer, place almond milk, ice, Shakeology, and blueberries in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
  6. Slowly pour into serving glass over strawberry layer. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • For more pronounced layers, freeze each layer for at least 5 min. before pouring another layer on top.
  • This shake can be made without layers, simply add all ingredients to the blender at the same time.
