Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
My life was a roller-coaster of extreme weight gains and extreme weight losses; each gain creating a greater sense of depression. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually I felt sluggish and slower; always a sense of misery

What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I’ve experienced extreme digestive issues and debilitating migraine headaches since the 6th grade. It wasn’t until May 17th, 2014 where I cut gluten from my diet. After one month of being gluten-free, my stomach problems and migraines headaches entirely disappeared. I have never experienced complete freedom from my physical ailments in my entire life. With the new found discovery, and the feeling of being able to tackle the world, I began the P90X3 workout program in my basement. With my gluten-free diet, combined with eating healthy and following the Beachbody program, I am now the healthiest physically, mentally, and emotionally that I have ever been in my entire life. When I woke up on my 30th birthday, I popped in my P90X3 DVD, completed the workout, then ran 3 miles at the gym. Being 30 has nothing on me thanks to Beachbody!

What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody® help you overcome that challenge?
Consistency. I’ve tried and failed over the years to exercise “on my own.” Yet having a specific, step-by-step program, was what allowed me to finally succeed!

What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
Each program was only 30 minutes long. Anybody can create 30 minutes in their day to work out. However, despite such a short length, the workouts were incredibly tiring! Who knew you could push so hard in such a short amount of time?

Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I was hoping to simply lose weight. I was beyond ecstatic when I began to see muscle definition with the weight loss! For the first time in my life, I no longer had man-boobs! And while it’s still a work in progress, I have abs. I actually have abs!

How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I have so much more energy. Energy to be a better father, a better husband, a better friend, and a better youth pastor. It’s incredibly how being healthy impacts every area of your life from the emotional, to the spiritual and everything in-between!
